We’ve been invited to host a Bunny Yoga event at Vinya (6185 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA 92111) on April 26, 2025! Here’s the breakdown:

• Arrival Time: 1:30 PM

• Event Start: 2:00 PM (45-minute yoga session)

• Meet and Greet: Brief session after the yoga for attendees to ask questions about SDHRS and the bunnies

Important Info:

• The event will be held in an enclosed space where we will disinfect the floor with rescue.

• Only vaccinated bunnies will be brought to this event.

• We’ll need one or two volunteers to help with poop patrol and bunny wrangling to ensure everything runs smoothly and the bunnies stay relaxed.

Volunteer Needs:

• Ideally, one volunteer can stop by the shelter to pick up and return the bunnies after the event.

Join us as we represent San Diego House Rabbit Society at Relay For Life! This powerful event celebrates survivors, honors caregivers, and remembers those we've lost—all while raising funds to fight cancer. We need volunteers to help with our SDHRS table, spreading awareness about our mission and connecting with the community.

Our friends at the Kendra Scott Boutique at the Fashion Valley Mall and UTC have invited us to participate at their "Kendra Gives Back" program for 2025.  We have identified two dates where we would like to have "pop-up" educational events at their store.  We need volunteers to be at the table, pick up and bring back the Education Box, table, x-pens and supplies, and bunnies from the shelter.   

We would love it if you could wear a SDHRS t-shirt i.e. Bunnyfest T-shirt, Volunteer T-shirt, SDHRS logo t-shirt.

Bunnyfest, organized by the San Diego House Rabbit Society (SDHRS), is an annual event dedicated to celebrating and supporting rabbits. The 2025 Bunnyfest is scheduled for Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Liberty Station in San Diego.

Volunteers play a crucial role in making Bunnyfest a success. Opportunities include assisting at booths, serving as runners, helping with check-in, and managing parking. To become a volunteer, please complete the volunteer application form available on the Bunnyfest website.
