Medical Needs Rabbit: Rocky

Named after the movie for his fighting spirit, this sweet rabbit was found as a stray and transferred to SDHRS. He’s estimated to be around 8 years old, thin, and clearly an older rabbit. When he arrived at the local shelter, he was severely underweight and covered in poop — a heartbreaking sign of just how much he had been struggling. It is suspected that he has dental issues and arthritis, adding to the challenges this sweet boy has faced. Rocky was also diagnosed with e.Cuniculi, and was placed on a regimen of mediation. Despite it all, he continues to show incredible resilience and a gentle spirit.

Rocky is now in a loving foster home who dotes on him and caters to his special needs.
